Business Strategy: Develop strategy for the Division in agreement with the Business Head and the CTO. Elaborate a 5-year plan, also including capital spending and fixed costs projections.
Markets / Customers: Ensure business opportunities are adequately exploited (globally with focus on growth markets). Make sure that the assigned Division is considered adequately by the sales organization. Ensure customers are managed thoroughly with regard to all divisional responsibilities.
Innovation: Enhance business driven innovation mindset in the Division in agreement with the CTO. Initiate and manage innovation related activities such as new product development, product application, process innovation. If appropriate collaborate with other Divisions in order to realize synergies as well as to ensure a smooth information flow amongst the divisions.
Business Controlling: Ensure budget planning for the Division in agreement with the Business Head. Closely monitor budget execution. Define corrective actions in case of budget deviations or if significant market changes occur.
Leadership: Lead, develop and motivate the assigned senior leadership team. Implement a culture of continuous improvement.
