The Distribution Manager is the primary contact for all day-to-day dealings between the manufacturer and distributor. The account leader will facilitate discussion and resolve issues with all key functions of the distributor 

The DM’s primary KPI’s are based on direct sales (POA/POP) and POS (Point of Sale) for the assigned account. 

➢ Work with regional sales team, and distributor branch locations and corporate contacts to develop POS targets by branch and region in line with company and distributor business expectations. ➢ Meet or exceed fiscal year sales targets for POA and POS. ➢ Collect, track and communicate internal market share goals and actual numbers monthly. . ➢ Get involved and add value to major quotes for strategic end customer quotes. ➢ Track strategic account performance to forecast and work with sales and corporate functions to address issues. ➢ Provide competitive intelligence and take steps to adjust pricing where necessary inside financial guidelines provided. ➢ Monitor and report trends (e.g. inventory, bookings, sales, etc.). ➢ Develop a Marcom plan with Distributor with measurable programs to create demand and brand recognition. ➢ Prepare quarterly business review reports and attend quarterly business reviews in key markets when possible/necessary and build relationships with regional sales management teams at Distributor. Quarterly business reviews will be conducted via Zoom Conferencing if face-to-face meetings are not possible.
